Kachemak Bay is one of the most prolific and diverse marine habitats in the world. This remarkable ecosystem boasts all of the estuary and coastal habitats found in the Gulf of Alaska, including ocean, kelp, seagrass, rocky intertidal, mudflat, salt marsh and glacial river environments.
Travel along 100 miles of some of Alaska’s most scenic coastline including Kachemak Bay State Park and Alaska Native land. In season, you’ll experience the migration and habitat of five different species of whales: Orcas, Humpback, Fin, Minke and Beluga.
