Join us on a tour of delicious wines and culinary expertise during one of our many Wine Dinners and Tastings. Featuring a 5 course paired meal/tasting expertly planned by our Executive Chef Chris Miller and showcasing one of our many talented Wine Advisors. Menus, pairings and Wine Advisors rotate from each event, so you can learn a little something new at each meal. Reservations are required in advance.
Homer Winter Carnival
February 2025
The Homer Winter Carnival brightens up the season with a new theme each year. Kicking off on the second Friday in February, this carnival is a fun-filled week of festivities. On Saturday, many line the streets of Homer’s Old Town to watch the parade with unique floats designed by the locals, animals, antique cars, music, and dance. Afterward, there’s a chili cook-off and basketball tournament, a great way to mingle and get to know the local residents.!

Winter King Derby
March 23rd, 2025
It was once one of Alaska’s best kept fishing secrets, but now - thanks to Homer’s Annual Winter King Tournament - more Alaskans than ever are enjoying the thrill of catching king salmon months before the season opens! Unlike spawning salmon, winter (aka “feeder”) kings are firmer and higher in heart-healthy Omega 3 oils. Join us for the Annual Homer Winter King Salmon Tournament. Over $200,000 in prize money is awarded annually to the largest Kings caught. If you don't have a boat, check on getting a charter.
Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival
May 2025
For more than 60 years, Land’s End has been a welcoming host of the annual Spring migration of more than 100,000 birds to the shores of Kachemak Bay. As a Shorebird Festival sponsor, we celebrate each of the more than two dozen species, like the Arctic Tern which flies as far as 50,000 miles annually! The Annual Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival is in May.

Alaska World Arts Festival
September 2025
Known for it's sprawling arts scene, Homer has been inspiring and attracting world-class artists for decades. Artists and performers from across the globe come to Homer every fall to showcase their extraordinary talents. Dance, comedy, theatre, film, visual art, workshops, and more! With over 100 events, you can come for the adventure and stay for the culture.

Murder Mystery Weekend

Keep your eyes peeled for 2025 dates!
Participating guests will find themselves caught up in an investigation as they try and solve a homicide case while discovering and analyzing hidden evidence, interrogating realistic suspects all the while finding they themselves are under suspicion. Murder Mystery USA labeled “The Masterminds of the genre” by the Los Angeles Times creates a fresh mystery with professional actor/detective each Fall. A Fall classic for Land’s End!
Thanksgiving Week

Our Thanksgiving service is a traditional feast of turkey, stuffing and all the sides and special dishes that we remember from home: mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, homemade cranberry sauce and much more!
Christmas Gatherings

Christmas is a time for family and friends, so whether you need extra space to house incoming guests, a special location for gathering together, or just a night off from cooking, consider Land’s End. Come enjoy your holiday celebration with a small intimate group in our Chart Room Restaurant or with your team from work for a holiday party. The Chart Room Restaurant is closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
