Reservation Deposit Policy
Landís End Resort requires collection of a deposit at the time a reservation is made.  This deposit will be equivalent to 2 nightís charges.  If reservation is for 1 night only, then deposit will be 1 nightís charge.


The deposit may be secured with a major credit card valid at the time of the reservation (we accept VISA, Master Card, AMEX and Discover) or by a pre-payment with check or money order.


Please note that Landís End does NOT accept checks drawn off non-local banks at check-in, or subsequently, to pay a bill.


Requirements for group bookings of 5 or more rooms must be arranged by our Groups Coordinator. Standard cancellation policy does not apply to group bookings.


48 Hour Cancellation Policy
A reservation must be cancelled more than 48 hours prior to arrival date in order to qualify for a full deposit refund.  Any reserved dates occurring within 48 hours of cancellation request will be charged in full.


Cancellations are never made without a corresponding cancellation number. For all cancellations, it is your responsibility to ask for, and to receive, a cancellation number to ensure you will not be invoiced. You may be asked to provide this number as well as the original reservation number, so please retain both for verification purposes.


In the event that you cannot honor your reservation and must cancel on shorter notice than the 48-hour deadline, please do call us and release your room; we cannot re-rent your room unless you do so. If we are unable to recover the lost revenue from a late cancellation, you will be charged for all such late cancelled rooms. However, if we are able to re-rent the late cancelled rooms, then we will refund your deposit, or credit your account for all such rooms sold.  

Fires on the Beach
Due to the extreme dry and hazardous conditions around the Hotel, we do not allow fires on the beach or near the hotel.  We also prohibit the use of grills on all decks. 

Landís End buildings: Hotel, Lodges and Decks are all part of our non-smoking facility.  Smoking is prohibited within 15 feet of all buildings. At the time of check-in guests will sign a Registration Card.  The Non-Smoking policy is on the card and will be enforced.  There is a $200 fine for smoking in the hotel rooms, decks and $500 fee in any of the lodges.

Parking is provided for all hotel and restaurant guests at no charge.  The Front Desk will notify Lodge guests where they should park.  For the 700 Lodge Units, guests may park in the driveway next to the front door of their unit.  For the 600 Lodge Beachfront Rooms, guests need to park in the stalls and spaces across the road from the units.

Landís End Resort does not provide long-term parking for guests unless they are guests of the hotels during the time the car is parked. 

Resort guests who bring boats, trailers, and motor homes should park at the extreme west end of the parking lot, on the gravel, off the pavement, in the area in between the Hotel and the Lodges.


Age of Guest 

Guest must be 18 years of age to rent a room at Landís End, and must be 21 to rent a Lodge or Lodge Beachfront Room. The Front Desk will check ID at check-in to make sure of the age and to match the name with the name on the credit card and the signature.   

Landís End Resort does not allow pets and will enforce this policy.  If evidence of a petís occupancy is discovered, it will be documented and a fee up to $200 may be applied in the Hotel, and up to $500 in the Lodges.  Guest will be called and notified about impending charges.  Documented Service Animals are allowed at Landís End Resort, and must be disclosed with proper identification prior to check-in in order to avoid pet charges.

Lost and Found
All lost and found items are stored in the housekeeping department.  If you have lost in item please call our Housekeeping office at 907-235-0412 and leave a message with details.
